Asset Leasing is currently unregulated. It does have a voluntary body, the Finance and Leasing Association (FLA). They have published a guide to responsible lending, which its members should adhere to. Unfortunately it does not offer any real protection to customers, but you should make yourself aware of its contents as this may assist your due diligence.
