What type of leases can you audit?
We can consider both operating, finance and hire purchase leases, on all forms of equipment.
Does the lease have to be active ?
No, we can audit expired leases, so long as we can obtain the information required. Finance houses are legally bound to keep record for 6 years so even if your lease expired 5 years ago we should be able to obtain the information.
How Long Does It All Take ?
This is a variable. The Initial Forensic report will normally be completed within 5 working days. If certain vital information is missing from the lease, this will take a little longer.
The cases on average take up to 12 weeks. If legal recourse is required, this will take longer, but you will be kept informed at all stages.
What is the downside, what have I got to lose?
Nothing, the initial audit report is done at no cost to you, your application fee is protected by a refund guarantee.
All we can think of is that it will take you a little time to collate the documentation and send, fax or email it to us.
Is this a new service?
The regulations and guidelines for leases have been around for years, and have been updated regularly.
The legal arguments have been upheld and verified in the courts.
Many leases have been successfully challenged over the years, but normally by individual accountants or solicitors working on behalf of the Company.
What is new is that The Leasing Advisory Service uses a bespoke and unique software system which cuts down the reporting timescales dramatically, allowing us to offer our services to businesses at an unbelievably competitive cost.
